Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: August 24, 2026
PriceCrater is independent deal media supported by affiliate commissions. This page explains exactly what that means, because a site built on price honesty should be equally plain about its money.
How we earn
Some links to retailers on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer or its affiliate network may pay PriceCrater a commission. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes from the retailer's marketing budget, not from you.
What commission never does
- It never decides which deals appear. A price drop qualifies on our observed price records — the drop, the depth, and stock verification — or it doesn't appear at all.
- It never affects ranking or prominence. Deals are ordered by the evidence, not by payout.
- It never touches truth labels. OBSERVED DROP, RETAILER-LISTED, VERIFIED IN STOCK, and EXPIRED describe what our records show, and are applied identically to stores that pay us and stores that don't.
Coverage and commissions are separate decisions
We monitor stores because their catalogs meet our standards, not because they have affiliate programs. Some stores we monitor pay no commission at all; we cover them anyway, and we say so with the same labels.
FTC compliance
In accordance with the FTC's endorsement guides (16 CFR Part 255): assume any retailer link on this site may be an affiliate link from which PriceCrater earns a commission.
